UX Design Lead

webkeyz is looking for a UX Design Lead to guide our design team, elevate our craft, and shape how we deliver impact across clients and industries.

This role goes beyond managing people; you’ll lead through mentorship, systems thinking, and continuous improvement. You’ll oversee the quality of UX across projects, help designers grow, optimize team workflows, and work closely with other leads to ensure our processes scale with our ambitions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor UX designers, supporting growth, collaboration, and accountability.
• Ensure design quality and logical consistency across all projects.
• Collaborate with Visual, Development, and PM leads to align delivery and direction.
• Review project estimations, user stories, and design deliverables.
• Conduct weekly one-on-ones, growth check-ins, and performance reviews.
• Anticipate risks, resolve blockers, and maintain healthy workloads across the team.
• Drive design process optimization; tools, documentation, efficiency, and scalability.
• Build and evolve design systems, competency frameworks, and feedback mechanisms.
• Contribute to hiring and onboarding new design talent.
• Consult with clients directly, translating research and insights into strategic recommendations.
• Introduce or pilot new tools, workflows, and AI-powered enhancements to improve productivity and creativity.

Requirements:

• 6+ years in UX Design, including at least 2 years in a mentorship or leadership capacity.
• Strong grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and human-centered methodologies.
• Experience managing design processes, team growth, and project quality.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing discussions.
• Proficiency in Figma and modern UX tools.
• Experience with Agile, backlog refinement, or product ownership is a plus.
• Familiarity with information architecture, research synthesis, and usability testing.
• Experience in visual design or interaction design is an advantage.
• Curiosity about AI, automation, and improving design operations.
